It is a slum and administrative ward, over parts of Sion, Bandra(E), Kurla and Kalina suburbs of Mumbai, India.Sandwiched between Mahim in the west and Sion in the east.Spread over an area of 175 hectares, Dharavi has a population of more than 600,000 people according to the Time Magazine.BBC suggests it is home to over 1 million people.Dharavi is considered "Asia's largest slum",
The Mumbai Pipeline
The Mumbai Manmad Pipeline(MMPL) was one of the most ambitious projects undertaken by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited.
The project commenced in mid 1998 and involved the laying of a 250 km long petroleum product pipeline from Mumbai, on the Arabian sea coast Nashik,
to Manmad, nearlocated in North-Eastern Maharashtra. Subsequently, by March 2007. The pipeline has been extended from Manmad to Bijwasan
near New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. The total length of the MMPL pipeline, from Mumbai to the outskirts of New Delhi, is approximately 1500 km
Street Children and Slum Dwellers
Street children is a term used to refer to children who live on the streets of a city. They are deprived of family care and protection.
Most children on the streets are between the ages of about 5 and 18 years old, and their population between different cities is varied. Street children live in abandoned buildings, cardboard boxes, parks or on the street itself.

The guests will be taken to the above mentioned places where they will be able to see not only the places where shooting for Slumdog Millionaire
took place but also a real glimpse of Mumbai and its people. They would see how a metropolis like Mumbai functions.
The cost for this tour would be Rs. 3,500/- (Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred Only) per person.
